Primary Responsibilities:


Build a high performing team of software quality assurance associates, managers, and vendor partners
Optimize Software Quality Assurance resourcing strategy, achieving targeted productivity improvement across all Optum Technology Software Development & Support Services (SD&SS)
Partner with SD&SS Leadership and staff on their information technology strategy, with the software quality assurance people, process, and technology in mind
Champion the Test Optimization across the entire SD&SS organization
Advise partners on how to improve their overall quality in technology delivery
Experience building and implementation automation frameworks using agile development toolset

Productivity learning to ensure that Optum Technology is looking at newest technologies that can be utilize in the Enterprise, for example:

Predictive Modeling
Model Based Testing. This is transformational and based on the model which gets developed, it generates test cases and scripts
Focus on Machine Learning
Data Science (Datamere)

Required Qualifications:

Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience
Understanding of exploratory testing practices
Experience in integration of automation frameworks with Sauce Labs
Working experience in Cloud technologies
Advanced coding experience with some of the following Languages: C, SQL, PL / SQL, TSL, 4Test, VB Script, VB and Java
Experience with some of the following testing tools: UFT, Selenium with Ruby, ALM, Quality Center, Load Runner
Experience with the case tool, Turbo Analyst
Basic understanding and experience with some of the following databases: Oracle, Sybase, SQL Server, MS SQL, Access, FoxPro
Basic understanding and experience with some of the following Operating Systems: UNIX (Solaris, HP), Windows
Basic understanding and experience with some of the following: PVCS, Confluence, Toad, Jenkins, Cucumber, Rally, and JIRA
Experience in building / enhancing automation frameworks for web - based and client server technologies
Experience in Agile methodologies and continuous integration processes
Preferred Qualifications:

Willingness to explore and learn new automation tools and technologies
Thorough collaboration create, build and implement metrics that show increase productivity and effective automation penetration rates
Experience with managing both onshore and offshore resources
Experience in SDLC Methodologies, Agile, Scrum, SDLC / Waterfall, especially Testing Methodology
Proven coordination, leadership, analytical and problem solving skills
Demonstrated ability in leading / driving global teams in multiple countries
Experience creating established templates, policies, tools and partnerships to expend and mature these capabilities for the organization in Agile
