Kmart Health and Wellness Ambassadors will assist in providing excellent member service, act as a liasion between the front of the store and the pharmacy, and are there to help members locate drugstore products, provide access to information on OTC as well as help members interact with Kmart pharmacists on a more personal level.
JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Understands, explains and promotes the SYW-Pharmacy Rewards Program to members
• Helps members find OTC products; including but not limited to keeping product in date
• Has awareness of associated promotions for items on drugstore planogram
• Has complete familiarity with the diabetic OTC planogram
• Provides information to our members regarding immunizations available at Kmart Pharmacy
• Encourages members to take advantage of other Kmart Pharmacy promotions ie) pet medications, free flavoring for liquid
medications, self-service materials/information
• Has familiarity with the family planning section, to assist members with locating specific items such as: Plan B, Pregnancy Test,
Drug Test, Condoms etc.
• Acknowledges all members shopping in the Pharmacy & OTC area immediately
• Promotes pharmacy and clinical services for Kmart Pharmacies in support of script growth initiatives
• Organizes, promotes, and facilitates health events for Kmart Pharmacy
• Supports, embraces and implements new initiatives to support wellness and health trends pertaining to our members
• Utilizes specialized knowledge of product categories to provide excellent customer service and promote health and wellness
PREFERRED SKILLS:
• Ability to up/cross sell items and promote seasonal items
• Commits to provide customer service that makes both internal and external customers feel welcome, important, and appreciated
• Ability to effectively promote services
• Ability to preserve confidentiality of information
• Accuracy and attention to detail

• Ability and willingness to move with purpose and a strong sense of urgency
