We’re looking for more superheroes to join our team during the holiday season. We have hundreds of seasonal contract positions open, and we’re interviewing now!

These are seasonal contractor positions that last from October -- December/January.

Potential for contract extension and conversion to full time employee depends on performance, attendance and business needs.

Hours Necessary:

Oct 10th through Nov 25th: 30-40 hours/week

Nov 26th through December 25th: 30-70 hours/week

*Contracts usually end on or after December 24th, depending on business need
*No part time hours or reduced hours available between Nov 25th-Dec 25th

Starting Pay:

$14.25 per hour (plus differentials for weekend and evening shifts only)

Job Description:

The Customer Care Representative is responsible for providing exceptional service to every customer and will respond to telephone, email and live chat customer inquiries in an efficient, professional and friendly manner. S/he also acts as the "voice of the customer" and recommends merchandising, site usability and policy improvements that facilitate customer loyalty and retention.

Primary Duties:

Respond and resolve in/outbound customer service inquires and issues via telephone, live chat and email.
Follow-up with customers regarding outstanding order issues, including customer submitted photos, personalized text and order detail information.
Drive process improvements within the Customer Care area.
Going the extra mile with every customer.
Uphold the Shutterfly 100% Happiness Guarantee.
Identify and recommend merchandising, site usability and policy improvements, based on customer feedback.
Construct email responses for new customer issues.

Place, track and close orders through the Shutterfly/Tiny Prints order fulfillment system.

Experience:

Excellent customer/client communication experience and skills (phone/email/live chat) required.
Experience in proofreading, copy editing or writing.
5 years' experience in customer service environment or equivalent work experience.
Experience in an e-commerce is beneficial.
Experience in print/design a plus.
Experience in a retail company (stationery, baby or gifts) a plus.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.

Knowledge, Ability, Skills:

Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
Resolution management skills: ability to effectively resolve issues with customers and vendors in a timely manner.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail: ability to prioritize demands and multi-task to compete daily objectives.
Willingness and desire to go the extra mile for Shutterfly customers.
Proficient in using Web browsers, Microsoft Word and Excel
Experience with Photo Shop a plus
Ability to interact with internal and external vendors to ensure customer and company needs are met according to our Level of Service standards.
Desire to work in and adapt quickly to a fast-paced, rapidly growing start-up environment
Background check required.
