Job Description

Job Title: Brand Ambassador
Reports To: National Program Manager and/or District Manager
FLSA: Hourly, Non-Exempt/Part-Time

SUMMARY :

A Brand Ambassador is responsible for training customers on the features, benefits and value of the client’s products. Must be energetic and able to engage and maintain strong relationships with customers. Must have good presentation skills with the ability to adapt to different audiences. Must be adaptable to varying store environments and have strong problem solving skills. Must also be comfortable learning new information or technology and effectively explain these concepts to others.

Must have the ability to follow a pre-determined schedule during the weekdays, meet specific training and/or presentation start times that will be determined by the client, travel to the assigned locations, report accurate and timely data through phone / internet , communicate professionally and effectively with Footprint Management, retailer and our client. Must have flexibility to accommodate customer-directed schedule changes.

SKILLS/ KNOWLEDGE/ ABILITIES REQUIRED:

The ability to read, write and speak English at a high-school level. Possess the ability to quickly gain knowledge of a new product/equipment. The ability to follow instructions, understand and implement training and demonstrating concepts. Effectively communicate with store personnel in a friendly, outgoing and professional manner. Detail oriented and have strong organizational skills. Flexibility to client and/or store requests including work schedule. Must have access to reliable transportation and the ability to travel up to but not limited to 50 miles one direction. Strong presentation skills, outgoing / upbeat personality.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

A: Computer literate with daily internet access and ability to access email. Must be able to work effectively in web-based applications, email applications

B: Accurately work within web-based reporting applications to indicate work availability, check schedule for work assignments, accept work assignments, receive work documentation and information, record work start and completion times, record work mileage, record work expenses, record work time and attendance, complete training activities, report in-store survey, capture and upload store photos.

C: Must be comfortable utilizing Technology (i.e. smartphones and handheld devices)

D: Adheres to all deadlines as assigned by the District Manager and/or other upper management. Ability to manage own workload and multi-task under limited supervision.

E: In-Store Field Services Requirements:
  • Pre-calls and schedules store visits
  • Ability to receive retail specific packets (via mail) and bring to assigned locations
  • Demonstrate new products per pre-established guidelines
  • Educate retailer concerning client customer service hotline for any ongoing questions, concerns or maintenance needs
  • Ensure retailer has the knowledge and ability to use online ordering website
  • Report completion into Footprint reporting system (IVR) using telephone number provided immediately after demonstration
  • Fax or email retail-signed work order verification form to Footprint within the same day of demonstration completion
  • Report all payroll and other required information into the Footprint reporting system (IVR) within the same day as demonstration completion
  • Ensures that work area is clean and safe
  • Ability to adjust pace and tasks as needed and possess the ability to work cooperatively with other employees and third parties
  • Ability to work in a team environment and follow directions
  • Willingness to assist with training of new Ambassadors

  • Ability to make decisions about proper safety
  • Ability to adhere to Footprint Uniform and physical appearance policies
  • Ability to complete appropriate paperwork and online data entry on a daily basis
  • Ability to manage the appropriate number of hours used to obtain goal objectives, ensures that all payroll hours and all other necessary information (survey data and/or store photos) are entered into the automated payroll system on a daily basis according to strict reporting timelines
  • Ability and willingness to be exposed to heights while on stools and/or step-ladders
  • Ability to communicate any problems, concerns or customer questions to the appropriate party
