About this job

POSITION PURPOSE - Manage, control, analyze, budget, advise and report on all expenditures (both Advertising and G&A) related to advertising and marketing activities.

MAJOR TASKS, RESPONSIBILITIES AND KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES -
Analyse Advertising expenditures including forecasting, tracking and proformas for initiatives
Prepare monthly reports; Advertising, G&A, and miscellaneous reports
Manage Advertising budget process
Manage G&A budget process

NATURE AND SCOPE -
Typically reports to Director of Mktg. Business;
VP of Interactive Marketing
No direct responsibility for supervising others.

ENVIRONMENTAL JOB REQUIREMENTS -
  • Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable indoor area and there is frequent opportunity to move about
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS -
  • Must be eighteen years of age
  • Must pass the Drug Test
  • Must pass pre-employment tests if applicable

EDUCATION REQUIRED - The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a bachelor's degree program or equivalent degree in a field of study related to the job.

YEARS OF RELEVANT WORK EXPERIENCE - 5

PHYSICAL JOB REQUIREMENTS - Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.

 PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS -
A bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance or related field is preferred.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES AND COMPETENCIES -
Financial planning/budgeting/analytical experience
Excellent communications skills
Creative problem solving and project management skills.
Working knowledge of Access, Excel, Word required. Adobe and VBA a plus.
