Farmer's Market Sales

Prather Ranch Meat Co. is looking for several part-time and full-time Sales Associates for our weekend and week day Farmer's Markets. We have both part-time and full-time positions available. This job is ideal for someone who loves to be outdoors, work on their feet, and serve customers who love great food!  

The Job:

• Drive our products to the markets, set up and take down the booth, handle financial transactions, and help our hungry customers find the perfect cut of meat for them
• Educate customers on our unique sustainability and animal care practices
• Describe various cuts of beef, lamb and pork, and the best ways to cook them
• Give exceptional customer service

Job Requirements:

• A valid California's driver's license and a clean driving record (this is a must!)
• Available to work early mornings on both Saturday and Sundays
• Some customer service and cash handling experience required (but we care more about work ethic and friendly attitude)
• Ability to work actively for 8+ hours a day in all kinds of weather
• Ability to lift a 60 lb box (did we mention this is a super active job?)
• A love for great meat and desire to learn more!
