Part Counter Sales

Objective:
Establish relationships with customers and the service department to increase overall growth.

Job Summary:

1. Work with customers, walk-in, call-in and service department to quote and sale parts needed to satisfy customer needs.
2. Maintain inventory counts and levels making the parts manager aware of any items that may need to be ordered.
3. Unload stock truck, count and place all stock items in appropriate locations.
4. Maintain the stock room keeping items in correct location as well as keeping area clean.
5. Maintain showroom keeping items in correct locations as well as keeping area clean.
6. Cycle counts are required weekly with a full inventory at year end.
7. Pull and stage orders for next day deliveries.
8. Work with outside salesman to meet the request and demands of customers.
9. Provide technical support to the outside salesman and to the service department.
10. Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

1. Must be able to operate forklift.
2. Must be able to lift heavy objects on a daily basis.
3. Knowledge of AS400 system a plus.
4. Knowledge of parts for all makes and models of trailers including but not limited to side walls, interior panels, and suspensions.
5. Knowledge of ordering parts that are not normally stocked items.
