Full-Time, Long-Term Reach/Stand-Up/Sit Down Forklift Operators
Do you have Sit Down and Stand Up Forklift experience?
Are you looking to get placed on a steady Monday to Friday schedule?
Can you work in the North Portland area near the Expo Center?
Are you a fast and SAFE Forklift driver?
We have a perfect Forklift opportunity for you!!
Staffmark, in partnership with a Fortune 500 global logistics company, has several immediate long-term openings for experienced Stand Up/Reach and Sit Down Forklift Drivers!
Certification is not necessary if you have Forklift experience within the last 6 months!! If Forklift experience is not in the last 12 months, then 2+ years of experience will be considered.
Computer/RF Scanning experience is a big plus. You will at least need some computer skills.
This is a full time/long term position with no assignment end date. We are seeking reliable, hard working individuals who can step up and start working immediately.
Location: North Portland (Near the Expo Center)
Duties include but are not limited to: operating Forklift, coordinating with receiving and shipping clerks, and inventory control.
Shifts: Day and Swing
All shifts are 8 hours. Some overtime expected
Average hours per week: 35 -45 hours
Pay rate: $12-$13 per hr to start; raises and bonuses available based on merit
Steel toed shoes are required (we can provide covers to begin with)

Requirements
• 6 months of recent experience
• Work carefully and accurately to avoid damages
• Physical lifting up to 25 lbs.
• Have reliable transportation
• Withstand long periods of standing up to 8 hours
