Headway Workforce Solutions is currently recruiting Contract Senior Underwriters for their client, Genworth Financial. Genworth is a leading Fortune 500 insurance holding company that is dedicated to helping people secure their financial lives, families and futures.
Responsibilities of the Contract Senior Mortgage Loan Underwriter:
- Prepare reports based on the results from the risk analysis for use in decision-making
- Analyze credit data and financial statements of individuals or firms to determine the risk involved in extending credit or lending money
- Assess eligibility of clients’ applications to receive mortgage
Knowledge and Experience:
- Underwriters must have at least five years of experience with mortgage loan underwriting
- Experience working with Conventional, DU, LP and manual underwriting
- Thorough knowledge of underwriting policies and procedures
- Compliance to investor guidelines and mortgage regulatory updates
