BASIC PURPOSE: The primary purpose of the Treasury Analyst position is to maintain department reporting, accounting and reconciliation duties, analysis of corporate and store bank accounts, daily cash positioning, and other Treasury functions.

 

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Perform duties of the Cash Desk including wire transfers and debt management
  • Monitor cash transactions via Treasury Workstation
  • Perform all accounting duties such as journal entries, monthly workpapers and reconciliations
  • Reconcile all corporate bank accounts
  • Perform analysis of bank balances and cash efficiencies
  • Prepare and code daily deposit
  • Assist with preparation of Cash Forecast and other Treasury functions as needed

 

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Education:
  • HS Diploma or equivalent required
  • Business Degree or equivalent training/experience; CTP/CCM certification a plus
  • Experience:
  • 2-5+ yrs cash management, accounting or related business experience preferred

 

SKILLS AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

  • Skills:
  • Hard Skills: Strong PC skills, including Microsoft Office Products (advanced Excel), Treasury Workstation and SAP; fundamental understanding of banking and/or cash management processes
  • Soft Skills: Self motivated; good verbal and written communication; integrity in dealing with confidential data;        analytical with attention to detail and accuracy; ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Typical Physical Demands:
  • Requires prolonged sitting, some bending and stooping.
  • Occasional lifting up to 25 pounds.
  • Manual dexterity sufficient to operate a computer keyboard and calculator.
  • Requires normal range of hearing and vision.
