Presbyterian Homes & Services, Deerfield in New Richmond, is seeking a Full Time SLP Rehabilitation Supervisor to join its Rehab team. At PHS Rehab, we provide meaningful rehabilitation rooted in the Christian experience. As a Supervisor serving PHS Rehab, you are part of an in-house rehab team. The Rehab Supervisor leads an interdisciplinary rehab team in providing the best skilled rehab services.

The Rehab Supervisor position at Deerfield provides Speech Language Pathology services to the residents living in the Deerfield Campus, leads the interdisciplinary rehab team as rehab supervisor and has the opportunity to supplement a full time schedule at our Boutwells Landing Campus in Oak Park Heights.

Responsibilities

The Rehabilitation Supervisor is responsible for supervising and managing the daily operational systems of the rehabilitation department. The Rehabilitation Supervisor participates in the development, implementation and evaluation of the program to ensure the delivery of high quality resident care and services consistent with regulations and established best practices. The Rehabilitation Supervisor serves as the rehabilitation department administrative resource in addition to serving as a therapist or therapy assistant, according to regulations and policies/procedures.

Qualifications
  • Graduate of an accredited program. Registered therapist or therapy assistant with current licensure in state(s) for assigned program oversight.
  • Three to five (3 - 5) years’ leadership experience in rehabilitation services.
  • Demonstrated working knowledge of the interrelationships of speech, occupational, physical therapy, or other rehabilitation/wellness programs in patient care.
  • Demonstrated working knowledge of Medicare and third party reimbursement and qualification.
  • Ability to work cooperatively with other health care providers, staff, family and residents in meeting resident/patient needs.
  • Demonstrated compatibility with PHS's mission and operating philosophies.
  • Demonstrated ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language to communicate with all customers.
