HR Generalist

PrideStaff Financial is seeking to fill an HR Generalist position in the city of Merced.

Starting ASAP at $16-19 an hour

Responsibilities of the HR Generalist position include compensation, benefits, leaves of absence, labor relations, worker’s comp, on-boarding, and growth.

Job Duties for HR Generalist include:

• Keeping open communication within HR dept and staff as needed
• Provide human resource support to employees
• Be the source of contact with employment agencies
• Helping resolve employee issues
• Help with compensation issues
• Handle employee complaints, questions, disputes, and grievances
• Provide assistance to managers and employees on company policies and procedures
• help guide managers on performance evaluations
• other projects and duties as assigned

Requirements for HR Generalist include:

• 3 years HR Generalist experience
• Union experience a plus
• Health care experience a plus
• Knowledge of HR practices and procedures
• Experienced with Microsoft Word and Excel
• Proven excellent judgment, problem solving, and creativity skills

Compensation for HR Generalists is typically based on skillset and experience in the range of $16-19/hr.
