The Territory Manager for Hispanic Markets reports to the Regional Manager of Hispanic Markets.

Location:

This role is located in the greater Chicago area. The employee will split up their time between working from home and the office in Northlake.

Travel:

Travel is approximately 70% all by car, with accounts being approximately 50 miles in radius. These are day trips, returning home every night.




Job Responsibilities:




Retail

§ Achieves Sales & Distribution goals as assigned for the territory and assigned chains by driving volume objectives with effective/ cost efficient executions of promotions and events

§ Leads and guides the execution of Hispanic Merchandising standards such as communicating Point of Sale (POS) Standards (on POS, flyers, sales sheets, etc), equipment needs and provide direction on Retail Execution standards in order to effectively communicate with the Hispanic consumer.

§ Executes national platforms within assigned accounts (i.e. Premios Juventud, Latin Grammys, Baseball, Soccer, Etc.)

§ Responsible for influencing and working with and through the DPSG sales teams (such as identified Account Managers and District Managers) to drive strategy, execute and strengthen relationships with local Hispanic and General Market, Retail Accounts to achieve sales goals

§ Communicates/meets with Branch/Territory Leadership on a scheduled basis to review programs & progress towards assigned goals. Will attend & present at team meetings.

§ Administration- contributes to the success of program by adhering to the deadlines & due dates for reports required: weekly work plan, sales trackers, sales and promotional recaps with photos, banners, and POS request.

Community

§ Develop strong rapport with various local constituents (i.e. Retailers, Lifestyle Influencers, Community Leaders, Local Media Partners, Event organizers etc.) and become involved with local community events.

§ Educate retailers and designated community about product, brands and programs.

§ Develop local grass-roots programs where we can tie in our brands to the communities we serve.

Marketing

§ Assist in identifying and analyzing individual market nuances, trends and best practices, lifestyle opportunities, etc.

§ Contributes to creative ideation for promotions and events that are developed locally and executed in the market. Identifies opportunities to partner with relevant brands that are considered staple items against target consumer.

§ Manage programs executed by external Hispanic agency personnel utilized to execute local promotional programs (national brand campaigns and individual market opportunities).

Warehouse Direct

§ Responsible for working with the DPSG sales teams in two distinct route to market operations including; Direct Store Delivery interfacing with local bottlers and DPSG Warehouse Direct (WD) broker teams to develop and strengthen relationships with local retail accounts.

§ Develops joint sales and marketing plans with the WD sales team for specified WD Brands

Qualifications

  • Fluent in English and Spanish ( written and oral)
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university with a minimum of 3 years of direct beverage selling and management experience OR High School Diploma with a minimum of 5 years in a successful outside sales related position
  • Minimum of 2 years experience with MS Office Suite.
