Quality Engineer - Full-time / Part-time

Job Description:

*Working with different facets of the engineering departments as well as the quality group. 50% Continuous improvements and deviation calls; 40% Meetings with Directors and Managers. 10% General tasks (near misses, scrap reduction)
*Implementing gauge standards and gage work instructions
*Will be taking products from the prototype stage all the way through to production using quality standards, processes flow procedures, writing work instructions and documentation for approval of new product
*Will be working in ISO9000 to perform all documentation, as well as working with other groups to push this product into production for customer specifications
*Working with and implementing corrective action plans to meet customer compliant resolution

Qualifications:
*4 year technical degree, BSME or BSMET prefererred
*1+ year in a manufacturing setting, co-op experience applies
*TS 16949 and ISO9000 documentation and implementation experience is a huge plus
*Experience working with APQP, FMEAS, PPAP, control plans, process flows and work instructions
*Experience taking a product from prototype into production
*Experience working with customer specifications and quality standards
