Sales Representative – Interconnect Solutions Group

Do you have at least seven (7) years of successful selling experience and knowledge of the interconnect industry? Are you plugged into the vibrant Southern California market in the electronics industry (including semiconductors and passives)? A high performing sales team for an innovative, growing electronics manufacturer supplying aerospace, defense and commercial clients is looking for you!

Overview: The successful candidate will drive a Southern California sales territory with outside sales and high level collaboration.

Description:

• Make outside sales calls
• Research and develop new sales leads to new accounts
• Manage and grow existing accounts, creating strong relationships
• Create a strong working relationship with manufacturing, engineering , inside sales and other departments
• Write reports, emails to advance sales and collaborate with key stakeholders

Requirements:

• Proven sales track record in the electronics industry
• Demonstrated analytical and problem solving skills
• Technical aptitude: comfortable with math, science, electrical components, engineering drawings
• Self-Starter, shows initiative
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Demonstrated collaboration and team approach

Requirements

• College Degree: BA or BS. Engineering background preferred.
• Technical aptitude required
• Work Experience: 7 - 10 years in interconnect, electronics industry sales (manufacturer, distributor)

Compensation

• Competitive starting salary ($90,000 - $110,000) with bonus structure once full territory is assigned
