Medical Sonographer - 3 Openings left! $5,000 Sign-On Bonus!

Aerotek Healthcare is looking for 3 Ultrasonographers, Registered Vascular Technologist, Medical Sonographers and Ultrasound Technologist in the Greater Kansas City area. Technologist that graduated from an accredited Radiologic Technology and/or School of Sonography. These are all long term career opportunity.

Position Summary:

• Under limited supervision but the direction of the radiologist, the Ultrasound Technologist completes sonography procedures including routine sonograms as well as interventional sonograms including biopsies.
• Sonographers participate in Performance Improvement and Quality Improvement activities.
• Sonographers work within the guidelines established in the policies and procedure manual and complies with all safety and infection control guidelines.
• Sonographers work in accordance with JCAHO, State or other regulatory or accreditation agencies in the performance of their duties.

Requirements/Qualifications:

• Graduate from an accredited program in Radiologic Technology and or School of Sonography.
• Two year program or four year BA program in Radiology Technology followed by training in sonography or completion of requirements from an accredited school in sonography including meeting all clinical requirements.
• Current registration/licensure/certification in good standing with the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) or American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). Must be registered in vascular and a minimum of two of the following areas: OB/Gyn, Abdomen or Breast. Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) required. As department becomes ACR accredited may be required to obtain specific certifications such as breast sonography.
• Minimum of one-year hospital department experience in medical sonography to include biopsies.

Shifts/Hours available:

1. Full Time - 11:30pm-7:30am Monday through Friday
2. Part Time - 7am-7pm Saturday and Sunday
3. PRN

FT would be 4-10hr days, Evenings or nights, 5/8s. Once fully staffed there would be minimal call, rotating weekends among 6 techs. We plan to operate 24 hrs/day 5 days weekly to start with.

Starting Pay, Benefits, Duration:

• $28.41 - $44.04/hour ($59,092 - $91,603 annually)
