CNC Machinist - Full-time / Part-time

POSITION SUMMARY:
set-up and operate CNC lathe Mori Seki machines with live tooling and sub spindle with minimal supervision.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESONSIBILITIES:

* Set-up and run lathe machines.
* Troubleshoot malfunctions and request assistance for repair or evaluation of the problem.
* Inspect parts during production runs.
* Perform mechanical inspection activities when necessary.

OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES:

Performs other functions as necessary or as assigned.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

* Must have 3 axis, live tooling and sub spindle experience.
* Must a thorough knowledge of and be experienced in set-up and operation of CNC lathe machines.
* Must have own tools and know the proper use of inspection tools.
* Must be able to read, understand and follow department/company work instructions,
policies and procedures
* Must be able to communicate positively and effectively with other employees.
* Must be able to observe all safety rules associated with shop environment.
* Must be proficient and knowledgeable in part print reading, dimensioning, and tolerance.
