About this job

Legal Secretary, to take dictation, type legal and other documents and letters of all kinds, file, mail and deliver all documents, answer the telephone, schedule appointments and operate all word processing, computer and document processing office machines.  Must be able to create, edit, upload and download all types of legal pleadings and documents to and from state and federal court websites.  Also must be able to create, send and receive all types of electronic messages and attach all types of electronic documents to messages.  General office administrative duties include office file maintenance, bank account reconciliation, payment receipt and processing.  General office operational activities and duties.  Must have the desire to perform excellent work consistently and have excellent office demeanor, manners and rapport with attorneys, judges, clients and others. Hourly wage dependent upon ability and experience.
