Our client in New Jersey is seeking production associates for their busy warehouse. The ideal candidate must possess good work ethics and be a team player!
Production Associate
Arrive at work on time and be on the production floor to begin work at the assigned shift.
Perform all work in a safe manner.
Maintain a neat and orderly work area.
Mixing
Prepare mixes for production.
Select materials and make mixes.
Clean equipment between mixes.
Complete all paperwork in a timely and accurate manner.
Replace materials in correct location by material code.
Extruder operations
Set up the machine conditions per the Processing Instructions.
Extrude and package materials.
Record process conditions on an hourly basis.
Perform visual inspection every 30 minutes.
Clean the machinery between runs.
Complete all paperwork in a timely and accurate manner.
Package all material according to instructions in clean packaging with labels applied straight and neatly.
Prepare materials for shipment with bags tied or folded over for bulk boxes, with lids on and strapped.
Receive materials and store them in the hold area until approved for placement into stock. Take all shipping documents and packing lists to Customer Service.
Follow the ISO procedures for all operations listed above.Ask questions when needed to clarify work instructions, procedures, equipment operation, production schedule/issues, etc.
