DC - Quality Control Instapack Operator, 1st Shift, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Lebanon IN
Contract to Hire with starting pay of $9.75 plus $1.00 attendance bonus
English or Spanish Speaking (If Spanish Speaking you must bring interpreter to interview)
SUMMARY: Responsible for packing boxes using the Instapack machine.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Running Instapack machine;
2. Checking cartons to assure product was correctly placed in carton;
3. Inserting packing paper in all international orders;
4. Changing tape on automatic taper;
5. Changing bags on Instapack machine;
6. Communication - must report all machine problems, damages, and errors found to Lead or Supervisor;
7. Reliability - must be dependable in working established shift schedules, including overtime;
8. Assist Quality Control as needed;
9. Clean machines and work area;
10. Reports to Inventory Control Lead after all cartons have been packed.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

SKILLS REQUIRED:
• Previous packaging experience preferred;
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds;
• Ability to work independently in a productive and consistent manner;
• Attention to detail;
• Ability to work in a repetitive motion for extended hours;
• Ability to stand for 8 or more hours each day.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Equivalent to at least a high school education.
