BASIC PURPOSE: The primary purpose of the Project Coordinator position is to oversee the flow of inventory into and out of the warehouse, from ordering, storage and maintenance. 

 

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Monitors and maintains current inventory levels; processes purchasing orders as required; tracks orders and investigates problems.
  • Compile reports and issue them to management
  • Prepare and manage a minimum and maximum inventory list (bill to list)
  • Records purchases, maintains database, performs physical count of inventory, and reconciles actual stock count
  • Maintains warehouse by organizing, cleaning and ordering supplies for projects and stores
  • Tracks maintenance and other equipment
  • Maintains E-Turns inventory system
  • Communicates with Field Maintenance Managers and other departments by phone and email
  • Ships and Receives large items and equipment
  • Create and sends billing invoices
  • Reads floor plans and blue prints to order supplies
  • Operates fork lift to move inventory

 

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Education:
  • High-school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Experience:
  • 1-4 years of experience in inventory control
  • Must be fork lift certified
  • Must be proficient in excel

    SKILLS AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

  • Skills:
    • Hard Skills: Strong knowledge of receiving and inventory management; working knowledge of Windows operating systems; experience with Microsoft Office.
    • Soft Skills:  Excellent written and oral communication skills; excellent listening and interpersonal skills; ability to communicate ideas in both technical and business terms; highly self-motivated and directed; keen attention to detail; proven analytical and creative problem-solving abilities; ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment; strong customer service orientation; experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
  • Typical Physical Demands:
    • Requires prolonged sitting, some bending and stooping.
    • Occasional lifting up to 25 pounds.
  • Manual dexterity sufficient to operate a computer keyboard and calculator.
  • Requires normal range of hearing and vision.
