Home Instead Senior Care is looking for caring and compassionate Scheduling Coordinator to become a part of our team and join our mission of enhancing the lives of aging adults throughout our community.  Home Instead Senior Care provides a variety of non-medical services that allow seniors to remain in their home and meet the challenges of aging with dignity, care and compassion.

Service Coordinator Position
 
- Reflect the values and core objectives of service to others as held by the company.
- Responsible for scheduling clients and CAREGivers in order to provide the highest quality service to clients with emphasis on creating extraordinary relationships
- Seek to match clients with CAREGivers based on specific interests, capabilities and "best fit"
- Monitor, mediate and log all client and CAREGiver activity utilizing the software system
- Follow-up with all client and CAREGiver issues to ensure their problems are resolved
- Maintain updated and accurate CAREGiver availability and personnel information
- Work to coordinate client schedules two-weeks in advance
- Recognize and capture opportunities to increase service hours in scenarios to enhance and/or increase quality care
- Maintain regular attendance at the office to execute job responsibilities
- Demonstrate open and effective communication with the franchise owner, colleagues, CAREGivers, clients and family members.
- Demonstrate effective interpersonal skills, sound judgement and good decision making skills
- Must have the ability to sit at a desk and listen effectively for long periods of time on the telephone
- Must have computer skills and be proficient in Word and Excel
- Must have availability to work evenings and weekends as required
- Exhibit patience, flexibility and problem-solving skills when schedules need adjusting
- Salaried position with paid vacation, profit sharing and 401K opportunity
- High school graduation (or equivalent) and valid driver's license required
- Knowledge of Senior Care industry and/or relevant business experience preferred
- Willingness to exhibit team approach and assist with functions and responsibilities deemed necessary
