Biomedical Equipment Technician 1 - Full-time

Are you a competent and experienced Biomedical Equipment Technician 1 looking for your next step with a progressive health-care team? Sodexo Clinical Technology Management seeks a Biomedical Equipment 1 for our client, Capital Health in Trenton New Jersey.  

We are seeking solution-oriented candidates who excel at customer service with a proven success as a Biomedical Equipment Technician (BMET).  Sodexo's BMET professionals have:  

 

• Experience repairing, maintaining and calibrating clinical devices such as: Puritan Bennett/CareFusion Ventilator, Hospira Infusion Pumps, Medfusion, Cat lab, cardiac cath, Frager, Sterilizers-Amsco, Steris, Gettinge, Telemetry, Balloon Pumps, Stockert Certification, Nurse Call, Common Path, Critical Alerts, GE Philips, Siemens;
• Proactive thinking skills to troubleshoot;
• Strong administrative and/or customer service skills;
• The ability to interact with clients;
• Ability to participate in on-call rotation schedule as required.

Under relatively close supervision of the GM, CTM and other senior technicians, inspect, repair, maintain, and calibrate all types of basic clinical equipment, devices, system, and instruments. Interact on a routine basis with other clinical health providers in the identification of technology-based problems and solution development. Participate in on-the-job training programs regarding technical, administrative, and customer service requirements. The BMET I will work toward status of a BMET II by attaining ability to independently complete all assigned tasks and acquire competency on a broader range of more sophisticated clinical devices and systems.
