Staff Accountant - Full-time / Part-time

Job Description : 

This is an entry level position, suitable for a fresh graduate or someone with one or two years of experience wanting to develop a career in the field of accounting. 
 

Duties will include and require: 

• Understanding of GAAP accounting 
• Ability to run month end close process and review financials
• Full AR and AP processing knowledge
• GL Entry
• Payroll
• Month and Year End Financial Close
• Reconciliations
• Strong Writing and Communication Skills
• Ability to work alone and in teams
• Excellent multitasking skills in a fast paced environment 
• Clients are located throughout the Bay Area: East Bay, South Bay, Peninsula and San Francisco. *Must be willing and able to travel to these locations.
• QuickBooks and/or Xero Skills

Qualifications/Experience:

• Bachelor Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business and/or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience
• New graduates are welcome to apply
• Looking for 1 or 2 years of accounting experience

Skills:

• Able to work in an environment that involves time-sensitive deadline and a  fast-paced setting
• Have high attention to details and strong analytic skills
• Numerical and competent writing skills, high accuracy on inputs and data entry
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office software including: Excel, Word, and Outlook
• Communication skills
• Accounting software knowledge (quickbooks, QBO, Xero, bill.com, expensify,  tallie, etc) a plus
