Staffmark has immediate opening for Electronics Assemblers I
The Electronics Assembler 1 is responsible for:
Assembles electronics according to product specifications. Follows BOM's and assembly drawings to put together electronic devices, tools and products using hand and power tools and other assembly equipment.
Assembles fabricated parts to relatively small or light subassemblies and complete units. Uses hand tools and small power tools to assemble units. May be required to complete an apprenticeship and/or formal training in area of specialty. Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. Some positions may require six months soldering experience. Works under immediate supervision. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager.
Must be able to comply with established Safety policies and procedures. Able to follow and understand ESD, ESD PPE and ESD Policy and procedures. Understands the basics of Lean manufacturing practices and principles. Understands the basics of 5S and the 8 wastes. Able to make suggestions and improvements within the work field.
Requirements and additional information:
Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Most have knowledge of electronic components, markings and polarity. Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.

HS or equivalent 1 to 3 yrs in electronic assembly Able to read assembly drawings Experience with hand power tools
