About this job
Surveyor opening for a nation-wide, multi-site design and construction program management firm. This firm specializes in managing full-scale renovation programs for large commercial retail clients.
Will be responsible for conducting site surveys on the interiors/exteriors of commercial retail/restaurant locations, uploading data and pictures for each site, and utilizing AutoCAD to complete any necessary modifications.
This position will require 50% (regional/local) travel: one week spent traveling to client sites to conduct surveys, with the following week spent drafting in AutoCAD. Travel expenses will be covered by employer.
Qualifications:
- Degree in Construction Management or Architecture preferred, or equivalent professional experience
- 2+ years of relevant experience surveying commercial buildings: restaurants, retailers, banks, corporate interiors, etc.
- Ability to read blueprints, create and modify construction documents
- Strong communication/customer service skills.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite programs
