The Service Manager Leader will be responsible for planning, organizing, directing, and managing activities for building and maintaining releases for the Consumer 360 Product. The Engagement Manager will also communicate and manage customer expectations, including PMs, IT Owners, Application Owners and the Business.
 
Primary Responsibilities:

Manage scope & schedule for releases
Coordinate application release schedules & milestones
Coordinate all cross application dependencies and downstream impacts
Perform Impact Analysis of the Change
Design and implement efficient procedures for deployment of changes to IT systems
Ensure implementation is traceable, auditable, compliant and that only approved versions are deployed
Build out Annual Release Plans utilizing industry standard Portfolio Project Management tools
Build out Integrated & Non-Integrated Release Milestone Dates and align with UHG Integrated Release Calendar
Conduct weekly Release Management Status Meeting and produce weekly status updates
Create all necessary Release artifacts (ex: Release Plan, Deployment Plan, Deployment Readiness Checklist, Release Closure Memo etc.)
Provide release status to stakeholders
Coordinate with IT and business teams to prioritize enhancements and defects into releases
Apply accepted project and release management disciplines to drive release successes
Accountable for assigned audit related /compliance activity
Participate in continuous improvement activity

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
10+ years of experience working hands-on with all aspects of the SDLC
5+ years of experience working and managing with multiple cross-functional teams in a highly collaborative environment 
4+ years of IT Project Management experience
3+ years of Release Management experience
