SUMMARY OF THE POSITION:

The District Sales Manager is responsible for maximizing company profits and associate achievements through inspirational leadership, guidance, and strategic planning. This position is accountable to managing the staff, servicing the stores, hiring and training, business development, and report analysis. This position engages in service selling and product knowledge to provide a world class customer experience to their team and the wireless community.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop and implement strategic planning within the assigned market to align with company goals

• Create and demonstrate an outstanding customer experience

• Communicate effectively to identify the best product or service to match the needs of the customer

• Visit store locations within the market to ensure store standard, participate in coaching opportunities, and provide a presence of market leadership

• Maintain business relationships with community and corporate partners, vendors, and industry associates

• Provide marketing efforts to solicit and promote new business inside and outside of the retail store

• Direct and support store managers to achieve store goals and motivate associate achievement

• Demonstrate integrity when working with customers, company policy, monetary transactions, product supply, and work relationships

• Manage all aspects of sales, profitability, shrinkage, operations, safety, and human relations within the market

• Travel up to 50%

• Prepare and report district analysis as it relates to company initiatives and forecasting

• Review sales plans, coach to effective sales coach, and train to set and achieve sales metrics

• Assist in other tasks and duties assigned by management

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in business related field, preferred
• Management experience in a multi-unit retail environment
• Previous retail sales and customer service experience
• Excellent communication and effective problem solving skills
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to inspire, motivate, and lead others
• Flexible schedule
• Experience with presentation and facilitation
• Advanced knowledge of MS Office Suite
• Must be able to prioritize ever-changing and competing deadlines
• Own reliable transportation
• Knowledge of wireless retail, preferred
• Bilingual in English and Spanish a plus
