Express Employment Professionals is partnering with a Johnson County company to help them find a warehouse employee that will also be responsible for production work. The candidate will be loading/unloading trucks with product, using a sitdown forklift to transport items and mostly working in the shipping/receiving area. When the employee is not busy with warehouse work, they will be expected to help work in production which could consist of loading/offloading product onto machines, operating machines, gathering necessary materials, cutting items to customer specs, and general clean up. Ideal candidates will have previous sit down forklift experience as well as strong ruler and math skills. Candidates must be okay lifting 50 lbs on a repetitive basis and working a lot of overtime during peak seasons. This company is known to work 10-12 hour days when orders pick up.
Pay: $11.50 - $12/hr based on experience and would offer pay increases upon hire. This is a great opportunity to get your foot in the door and expand your warehouse/manufacturing skills.
Shift: Monday-Friday 7am-4:30pm but candidates can expect 10-12 hour days when orders pick up.
