HVAC-R Technician - Full-time / Part-time

Fast-paced, local restaurant franchise has an immediate opening for a HVAC-R Technician. Experience repairing kitchen equipment preferred, will provide training if needed. Providing platinum service while maintaining a clean and safe environment for guests and staff is a must. Insurance, 401(k), paid vacation are available. Duties include (but not limited to): Install and maintain industrial and commercial refrigeration systems Maintain water and power systems Dismantle malfunctioning systems and test components Adjust or replace defective or worn parts to repair systems Install electrical conduit to HVAC equipment Repair faulty equipment or systems outside of regular work schedule (weekends or nights if needed) Troubleshoot boilers, pressure vessels and heating equipment Troubleshoot and repair cooking equipment (will provide training if needed) Perform general overhaul and other preventative maintenance on all equipment Maintain repair records on all equipment Maintain safety procedures for using equipment While performing the duties of this job, our employee will be regularly exposed to outside weather conditions, electrical wiring and moving mechanical parts. You will be required to regularly work in confined spaces (attics, crawl spaces, and in roof top units) and in high, precarious places. In addition, our employee will need to sit and stand for lengthy periods of time, walk, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. Employee must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Education and/or Experience: High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent required. 5 years field experience in refrigeration and air conditioning required. Experience repairing kitchen equipment preferred, will provide training if needed.

Certification/Licenses: Must be a Certified Refrigeration Mechanic
