We have a full-time/part-time opening for a Shift Lead.

Must be able to work various shifts per week.

 

Requirements

Position Summary

The Shift Supervisor contributes to store success by assisting the store management team in executing store operations during scheduled shifts. This position is responsible for deploying team members and delegating tasks necessary to daily operations. Shift Supervisors must always act as a brand ambassador and provide the professional skills and behavior necessary to operate a successful retail food-service business where customer service and superior products are our goals.

You are expected be on time and in uniform. Your schedule (hours and days) may fluctuate according to store needs. Your Manager must approve any changes from your posted schedule. Always clock/sign in and out and take your breaks and lunches.

You will need to take the appropriate training modules. Your Trainer will assist you with your training.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Adheres to the dress code at all times
  • Maintains regular and punctual attendance
  • Provides a positive, friendly and helpful customer service approach in all transactions with the shopping public, utilizing suggestive selling techniques and sampling procedures
  • Prepares and displays all products according to company standards and policies in order to provide a positive and inviting image to customers
  • Anticipates customer and store needs by constantly evaluating environment and customers for cues
  • Assists with new partner training by positively reinforcing successful performance and giving respectful and encouraging coaching as needed. Provides feedback to store manager on partner performance during shift. Utilizes team member training programs and systems in place to ensure training excellence.
  • Contributes to positive team environment by recognizing alarms or changes in partner morale and performance and communicating them to the store manager.
  • Creates a positive learning environment by providing clear, specific, timely and respectful coaching and feedback to partners on shift to ensure operational excellence and to improve partner performance.
  • Follows all procedures and record keeping requirements designed to control waste in accordance with company policy
  • Receives inventories, and rotates product and supplies in an efficient manner
  • Completes inventories and places food and supply orders as necessary
  • Maintains store and equipment cleanliness as outlined in company policy
  • Follows company policy and exercises the highest level of professional care in cash handling responsibilities
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Mrs. Fields and TCBY at Arista is a corporate training facility. This means any and all employees of the corporate store are expected to assist in the training and facilitating of franchisee interaction.
  • Shift leads are expected to monitor, enforce, and adhere to the production schedule (see production schedule)
  • Monitors, adheres, and enforces all cleaning schedules
  • Monitoring, documenting, and ensure all product and/or items are in store when delivered. Document any problems or missing items.

Minimum Qualifications

•Available to work flexible hours that may include mornings, evenings, weekends, nights and/or holidays

•Six months experience in a position that required constant interacting with and fulfilling the requests of customers

•Experience delegating tasks to other employees and/or coordinating the tasks of employees a plus

•Experience coaching and training other employees a plus

•Must be able to provide proof of eligibility to work in the U.S.

Job Environment and Conditions: 

Working conditions are indoors in environmentally controlled conditions.

Physical Demands:
