Use your Sharp Analytical Skills to help us support, compile and report key information! Create, enhance, and maintain budget or financial planning models, benchmarks. Evaluate, interpret and analyze data and business process and analyze/monitor new, routine and ad hoc reports. Provide support when compiling and reporting information and assume responsibility for data integrity among various internal groups and/or between internal and external sources. Support short term operational activities. We are scaling the Payment Integrity Ideation team to accelerate new idea/concept development and maintain a pipeline of medical cost savings projects for deployment. A Business Analyst is required to support the data process for Payment Integrity team focused on the E&I and C&S platforms.
 
Primary Responsibilities:

Develop and create SAS/TOAD programs to extract data elements from our core data warehouse platforms
Interact with internal customers to effectively design, implement, operationalize and document reporting that accurately captures business requirements

Create and update automated process reporting within production schedulers. Manage ongoing timely production and quality of all scheduled reporting (Daily, weekly, monthly, etc.); and SLAs for Ad-Hoc reporting

Manage implementation of reporting enhancements and changes
Document reporting production processes and ensure all reporting remains current with changes to business process, stakeholders or business partners

Required Qualifications: 

Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience
1 plus years of data analysis and reporting experience
Experience with SAS Software (or equivalent data querying tool) using query language procedures and steps to extract data
Proficiency with desktop productivity tools (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Candidate should be able to review and discuss business requirements with end users
Team player that is able to successfully manage multiple activities achieve solutions under tight deadlines for themselves
Candidate should be comfortable working in a fast paced environment
Candidate should have good communication skills. They need be able to provide clear explanations and overviews of their work efforts
Preferred Qualifications:

Knowledge of the following processes within the Health Insurance Industry: Claim Adjudication and Payment, Eligibility
Experience with Claim Data
