Catering Manager

Aceituna Grill is a “fast casual” Mediterranean restaurant in Kendall Square, with a second location opening Fall 2016 in Boston’s Seaport district.  We endeavor to provide our customers with a delicious, authentic, and healthier cuisine that is fun, convenient, and affordable when enjoyed on site but also a perfect option to add into the catering rotation mix for corporate lunches / dinners, conferences, parties, and other functions or events.  Part of what makes us so proud of our food is that we believe it is perfect for catering.  In particular, our hearty, flavorful salads, and house-made sides and toppings travel well, serve easily, and can even be refrigerated for future enjoyment.     

We are looking for an experienced manager who can help us develop and then execute a catering strategy, which includes fine-tuning our current offering and pricing, leading an ongoing sales and marketing effort to identify and sign on new catering customers, and working efficiently with our in-store staff to make sure we are meeting the highest food, safety, and customer service standards as well as achieving our aggressive financial targets.

We need a seasoned catering professional who can…

  • Develop a catering strategy, menu, sales & marketing plan, and execute against it
  • Process / negotiate orders or contracts with customers
  • Interface with customers and ensure highest levels of customer service are met
  • Working with in-store management to complete orders
  • Ensure on-time and otherwise impeccable delivery of all catering orders
  • Ensure health, safety, licensing, and other regulations are strictly observed
  • Maximize sales and meet company financial expectations
