IT Systems Analyst / Business Analyst - Schaumburg, IL

You will work in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment with a wide range of business clients ranging from internal IT groups to external PBM clients and third party healthcare providers. Our team aims to create the next-generation of healthcare and prescription APIs for use by internal and external customers through close collaboration between our architect and analyst team members.
 
Primary Responsibilities:

Assist in gathering and documenting of business requirements and prepare the detailed functional and technical specifications that follow project guidelines
Work closely with Developers and Quality Assurance Analysts to ensure requirements and design are completely understood
Communicate design to all stakeholders and varying levels of the organization
Act as the liaison between other Business and Systems Analysts, Developers and project management groups
Present and evaluate design solutions objectively and facilitate conflict resolution
Work closely with business teams to strategize solutions that support long term business objectives
Ensure IT deliverables align with business requirements with measurable results
Collaborate with QA team to ensure testing efforts align with system deliveries and business processes
Lead and mentor other Systems Analysts, if required
Coordinate change control process and assist with SOX controls (evidence gathering/documentation)

Required Qualifications:


5+ years of experience in IT Systems Analysis or Business Analysis
5+ years of experience in all phases of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) / System Development Life Cycle
5+ years of experience translating business requirements into a detailed system specifications
Proficiency with Word, Excel, and Visio
Relational database / SQL experience
Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
Proficiency with MS Project, Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint
Healthcare experience
Experience facilitating Joint Application Design (JAD) sessions
Experience working in an Agile environment or familiarity with Agile methodology
3+ years of experience with the RxClaim suite of applications and data model
2+ years of experience with web services
