Manufacturer is looking for a Chemical/Ceramics Engineer
Successful candidate must have at least 10 years of ceramics experience and understand the firing, glazing and ware making process.
Candidate must also exhibit leadership abilities and be able to direct others on key processes.
Responsibilities:
-Conducts research, develops processing techniques and directs technical work in the manufacture of ceramic products.
-Directs testing pf physical, chemical and heat-resisting properties of materials such as clays and silicas.
-Analyzes results of tests to determine combinations of materials which will improve quality of products.
-Conducts research into methods of processing, forming and firing of clays to develop new ceramic products.
-Coordinates testing activities of finished products for characteristics, such as texture, color, durability and glazing.
