Reporting to the Sr. Director, Data Warehouse and Business Intelligence, the Systems Analyst works on a team of seven at The Cheesecake Factory Corporate Support Center in Calabasas Hills, CA. In this role your core focus is to analyze designs, develop, deploy and support data and application integrations. You will utilize a structured approach to integrations between internal systems and external partners leveraging software development standards and best practices. Additionally, you will work with IT peers and business users to understand integration requirements, interactively develop, and deploy solutions to meet those requirements.  

 

The crucial role of Systems Analyst is performed in concert with the rest of the IT team as they combine cutting edge technology with first class support for a $2.0B, publicly traded entity; a true market leader with over 200 full-service restaurants and more than 38,000 staff members. 

PLEASE NOTE:  This opportunity will be located at our Corporate Support Center in Calabasas Hills, CA.  Relocation assistance is available.

 

Here’s more of what you’ll get to do:  

  • Design, develop, deploy, and maintain event-driven integration solutions internally and with partner services. 
  • Design and develop test plans and quality assessments for new and existing solutions.  
  • Provide support for existing web/integrations across our EAI suite (SSIS, SSRS, iWay, and other utility technologies in play). 
  • Maintain and develop key integration assets for The Cheesecake Factory including but not limited to the automation of information sharing between finance and benefit vendors and process orchestration/mediation amongst internal systems.  
  • Interact with clients to gather and document detailed requirements for changes and enhancements to existing solutions as well as for new business solutions. 
  • Ensure integrity of data through analysis, coding, testing, and problem resolution. 
  • Use and promote established SDLC standards, QA and change control procedures. 
  • Create support documentation for first and second level support teams.

Qualifications
What we require:
  • Bachelor’s Degree (BS/BA) and 3+ years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. 
  • 3+ years demonstrated experience working with ESB (Enterprise Service Bus) technology as well as ETL (Extract, Transform and Load) technology (e.g., iWay, Informatica, Pervasive, IBM WebSphere, Software AG, Tibco). 
  • 3+ years of experience with server side scripting (ANT, vbscript, javascript, JDBC, SOAP). 
  • 3+ years of experience with XML. 
  • Exceptional analytical abilities, problem solving, and follow-through skills. 
  • Excellent communication and comprehension skills. 

  

 

What we prefer:  

  • 3+ years of experience with Transact SQL and SSIS. 
  • Strong experience with Web design and development tools and languages (e.g ASP .Net, C#, Java). 
  • Experience with ESB administration and channel/service deployment.
