As a member of the Candy Shop team, your primary responsibility will be interacting with customers on the sales floor. As a member of our team, you will also be fully trained and able to assist customers in other areas in the store.
Requirements
- Greet and engage customers in a friendly manner in the Candy Shop and across the store. Provide information and respond to customer inquiries
- Order product as needed by scanning appropriate shelf tag or punching in numbers on order machine.
- Actively demonstrate appropriate suggestive selling techniques. Provide active sampling opportunities, when appropriate
- Stock, rotate, and maintain Candy Shop. Prepare Candy Shop for display by following proper procedure.
- Adding new items to shelves by moving existing items and maintain shopping area is in good condition. Ensure that products are replenished and shopping area is in good condition.
- Assist in maintaining back room efficiency by unloading deliveries. Rotate and check code dates on products to ensure customers safety.
- Properly handle products and equipment in accordance with food safety and safety guidelines to ensure a safe shopping environment.
- Maintain cleanliness of equipment, tables, utensils, floor (to ensure safety), and sanitation regulations are met.
- Actively support a culture of safety which includes, but is not limited to, food safety, Team Member safety and customer safety.
- Follow proper procedures to ensure store meets out-of-stock percentage goals.
- Creating quality confections according to procedures and policies.
