Description

WIS International, a premier global inventory and merchandising provider, seeks a full-time, retail District Manager to join our team. Retail, supervisory, multi-site, inventory and warehouse experience is a plus! Our business is growing and we need new managers to service our high profile retail clients!

The DM directs a geographically diverse team in staffing, training, scheduling, sales and in the execution of inventory operations for multi-unit, multi-site field offices. The DM is expected to achieve net profit and service goals in support of overall Company objectives. The DM is responsible for all aspects of the day to day operation of the assigned Market.

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Previous supervisory or leadership experience
  • Multi-unit management experience preferred
  • A desire to learn the inventory business and the drive to reach for promotional opportunities
  • Strong organizational, analytical, self management and goal setting skills
  • Ability to build and retain a highly successful and dedicated team
  • A high level of computer literacy
  • Current and uninterrupted licensed driving experience for the previous 5 years without accidents or driving infractions in the last 24 months

Education: A Bachelor’s (4 year) degree in business administration or related curriculum is preferred

Experience: Normally requires three to five years previous related experience managing multi-site operations. This includes the selection and development of multiple managers as well as leading a large number of hourly employees in the retail, restaurant, or other service related industry. The successful candidate must have demonstrated proven results in customer service and relationship building, sales, profit planning and adherence to cost containment principles.

Knowledge of financial statements and previous profit and loss center responsibility is essential. Must be highly knowledgeable about the technical nature of the inventory service delivery system and have a thorough understanding of the inventory process

Knowledge of applicable labor employment laws as well as experience in succession plan development and building a strong cohesive team.

The ability to effectively use Windows and the MS Office Professional Suite applications is required.
