Marketing Manager - Full-time

JOB OVERVIEW

We are currently seeking a Marketing Manager at our Community Support Office located in McLean, Va. The main focus of the position will be to develop, manage and implement a variety of integrated marketing programs to promote Sunrise’s brand, product lines and support sales goals.

RESPONSIBILITIES & QUALIFICATIONS

Primary Responsibilities include:

• Managing marketing initiatives focused on building brand awareness and driving sales for Sunrise’s portfolios, including senior living products, business development efforts and new business
• Serving as a strategic counselor to the Sales teams, advising on pro-active marketing campaigns, messaging and tactics to support communities and markets throughout North America
• Effectively responding to community marketing requests for support customizing marketing materials and troubleshooting
• Collaborating with Online Marketing team to coordinate and lead effective multi-channel marketing campaigns
• Drafting and editing marketing communications materials such as advertising copy, website text and collateral
• Coordinating various marketing activities such as photo shoots and community-specific programs to effectively serve the company and sales force
• Managing key vendors and agencies, including designers, setting expectations and deadlines and making sure all are met
• Protecting Sunrise’s brand integrity, ensuring consistent and effective implementation of brand standards and guidelines
• Measuring the impact of marketing activities; Regularly monitoring results and feedback to effectively enact changes to team’s programs

Requirements include:

• Bachelor’s degree, and experience in healthcare or hospitality industry preferred
• At least 5 years of marketing experience, including managing a company’s brand
• Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills
• Strong understanding of general marketing and communications and up to date on best practices
• Initiative and willingness to handle multiple projects/roles in an evolving environment both individually and within a team
• Resilient, with the ability to work to deadlines and maintain high levels of professionalism while managing multiple demands
• Willingness to do what it takes to complete projects with a dedication to quality and innovative thinking
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with Corporate Marketing & Communications team members to contribute to all team initiatives
• Display positive and pro-active attitude towards all projects and team members
