We are looking for a Maintenance Technician who has experience maintaining, diagnosing and repairing machinery and mechanical equipment, and the ability to perform general, advanced or specialized maintenance functions, including heating and air conditioning, depending on shopping center, office building, or multi-unit residential property needs, located at Stapleton Apartments.

In this position your primary responsibilities will include:
Essential Job Functions
• Repairs and maintains machinery such as motors, pumps, belts, and fans.
• Repairs and maintain mechanical equipment, including heating and air conditioning. Diagnoses problems. Disassembles units, cleans, lubricates,
repairs, and replaces parts
• Performs routine to difficult carpentry duties, including installation of new doors and installation or repairs of doorjambs, moldings, hinges, door
closers, locks, knobs, shelving and counter installation, ceiling tile/grid repair and installation, etc.
• Performs routine to difficult painting duties, including drywall or plaster repair, painting, etc.
• Performs routine to difficult plumbing duties, inspecting, installing, repairing and replacing pipes, fittings and plumbing fixtures, unclogging sinks
and toilets, repair of faucet, assemblies and replacement of washers, repairs or replacement pipes, repair of fountains, etc.
• Performs routine to difficult electrical duties, including inspecting and testing lighting, wiring and power circuits, replaces faulty switches, replaces
faulty lamps and ballasts.
• Performs preventive maintenance duties as assigned

Job Requirements include:
• A minimum of 1 year of prior experience working on a commercial or multi-unit property
• High school diploma/GED, required
• Willingness to work M-F from 8-5, and ability to work a flexible, rotating schedule that may include nights, weekends, OT, Holidays, and
On-Call as required
• Must maintain a Valid State Driver's License at all times and clean driving record

Physical Requirements:
• Ability to walk, stand, sit, kneel, squat, crouch. bend, stoop, push, pull, twist, climb stairs, climb ladders, grasp, squeeze,
reach, lift and carry up to 75 pounds. Tolerance to all extremes of hot and cold weather, as may be necessary.
