Heavy Equipment Mechanics / Operators - Ascension Parish Area - Full-time / Part-time

We are seeking Heavy Equipment Mechanics / Operators who are looking for a long term, full-time opportunity with opportunity for advancement. 

Ideal candidate must be reliable, committed to the team and have a drive to work hard for advancement. Must understand that integrity is paramount, a team player, ready to do whatever needed for the team project.

Duties include:

• Repair and troubleshooting of site equipment (experience w/mechanical repair/overhaul required, but training on specific equipment will be provided)
• Operating equipment when necessary, including but not limited to:
  • Large front end loaders
  • Telehandler
  • Skid steer
• General industrial labor when necessary to supplement team

Experience and Qualities:

• Safety minded with a strong work ethic is a must
• Experience troubleshooting and repairing equipment (hydraulic, diesel, screeners)
• Able to follow directions, pay attention to training to learn job
• Team player, committed to personal career development
• Looking for a career, not just a pay check
• Proven record of reliability and good work related references
• Must be drug free and able to pass hair follicle test
• Able to work long hours (12 hr shifts, 7 on / 7 off)
• Must have reliable transportation and be committed to being at work each day

Willing to train dedicated candidates with a proven track record for long term full-time work.

Pay starts at $20/hour DOE.
