Staffmark is working to find a qualified candidate to fill an opening for a client in Joppatowne. The opening we have is for a shipping/receiving clerk.
Experience/Skills needed:
Experience working in an Industrial warehouse/stockroom.
Knowledge of shipping processes with: UPS FEDEX, DHL etc
Prepare documents, such as bills of lading and shipping orders to route materials.
Pack, seal, and label materials to prepare for shipping via parcel or freight services.
Additional Duties:
Ability to lift 50lbs frequently
Perform general physical activities in order to load, unload, and sort incoming/outgoing material using material handling equipment (carts, pallet jacks) as needed
Adhere to shipping and receiving policies/procedures and regulatory compliance procedures.
Examine incoming/outgoing shipment contents and compare with records such as manifests, invoices, pick tickets or packing lists to verify accuracy of shipment.
Computer literate- Word/Excel and/or experience with business information systems is considered an asset.
