GENERAL SUMMARY: Flexibility, productivity, and quality are the keys to success in this position. The Administrative Assistant will work in many different departments of the Credit Union, helping clean up backlogs, working on special projects, planning parties and events, and generally saving the day when a department is slammed. The position involves working with many different individuals at all levels in the organization at the Credit Union's downtown Oakland headquarters.
DUTIES:
- Provide administrative assistance wherever needed. This may include such activities as entering data on information systems, scanning, filing, performing reconciliations, organizing, and posting. Asking questions to fully understand assignments is encouraged at all times.
- Contribute to The Hub, the company's employee intranet, helping to ensure that content is current, interesting, useful, and fun.
- Support the Team Spirit Committee's work in organizing and communicating monthly company-wide events. As a Committee member, participate in decisions regarding the event calendar. Procure food, supplies, and decorations, and oversee set-up and clean-up for the Oakland events.
- Other duties as assigned
- Must have previous banking experience
