In this role, you will assist callers who have questions about their credit reports, or who need basic assistance with requests for a credit report or other services in a call center environment. After some time handling these types of calls, you will return to training for another 6-7 weeks to learn how to interpret and analyze consumers' written or verbal disputes. It's a challenging job but well worth it.


Key responsibilities:

* Demonstrate strong customer service skills with a positive and cooperative tone with both customers and co-workers.

* Ability to enter data accurately and efficiently into the appropriate database system.

* Use basic data entry skills to process credit reports and requests for alerts, and answer general questions about credit reports and credit scores.

* Once you have mastered these skills, you'll undergo additional training to be able to determine the different types of issues contained in dispute and forward those requiring handling in different departments to appropriate personnel.

* Educate the consumer on dispute process and offer options for immediate resolution.

* Identify and investigate dispute issues. Maintain the integrity of the database by ensuring data quality and accuracy. Handle escalated consumer issues.

Qualifications

* 1+ years' experience in Customer Service

* Must have High School Diploma or GED

* Good oral communication skills.

* Good PC / mainframe computer and 10-key calculator skills.

* Must be available for training for the first 3 to 4 weeks 8 am - 5 pm Monday through Friday

* After training you must be available to work a shift between 7:45 am and 7:15 pm Monday through Friday.

* Must be able to successfully pass our Employee Background Screen which will include credit, a criminal background check, previous employment and education verification as well as a drug screen

* Bi-lingual is a plus.
