WEEKEND ON-CALL CAREGIVER

Weekend On-Call Caregiver Position
 
 
FULL WEEKEND ON-CALL
 

1. You must be available the entire weekend; starting Friday at 5:00pm and ending Monday at 7:00am.
2. Caregivers will be paid a bonus of $125.00 for the entire weekend for being on-call 
3. Caregiver will be paid $12.50 per hour once assigned by the on-call manager to fill a shift during that weekend. 
4. Caregiver must be able to arrive at clients within one hour or less of accepting shift. 

CAREGIVER Duties include, but are not limited to:

• Companionship and conversation
• Light housekeeping tasks and meal preparation
• Medication and appointment reminders
• Assistance with grooming and bathing
• Assistance with toileting and incontinence issues
• Alzheimer’s Care

Requirements to be a CAREGiver:

• Ability to treat and care for seniors and their property with dignity and respect
• Ability to communicate with clients in a friendly and congenial manner
• Complete a criminal background check, DMV check and drug screen
• Possess a valid driver’s license and valid auto insurance
• Essential Qualifications (Include minimum education, experience, and specific skills required to perform Primary Responsibilities.
• Pass a random drug screen.
• Valid driver’s license and auto insurance.
• Attendance to On-going training/meetings.
• Working cell or home telephone at all times.
• Ability to speak, read, write, and understand the English language.
• Ability to treat and care for clients and their property with dignity and respect.
• Ability to communicate with the client in a friendly and congenial manner.
• Ability to communicate with office/on-call staff to ensure that service expectations are met.
• Must have your own vehicle, please note that public transportation is not     acceptable.
• Ability to adapt to various individual living environments and locations.
• Ability to lift 25 pounds, bending, twisting, stooping, kneeling, reaching, pushing, pulling, stair climbing, and carrying.
• Ability to withstand periodic contact with dog and cat hair, dust, mold, mildew and cleaning solutions.
• Must be able to attend HISC three day paid training program.
