Weekend On-Call Caregiver Position
FULL WEEKEND ON-CALL

FULL WEEKEND ON-CALL
- You must be available the entire weekend; starting Friday at 5:00pm and ending Monday at 7:00am.
- Caregivers will be paid a bonus of $125.00 for the entire weekend for being on-call
- Caregiver will be paid $12.50 per hour once assigned by the on-call manager to fill a shift during that weekend.
- Caregiver must be able to arrive at clients within one hour or less of accepting shift.
- Companionship and conversation
- Light housekeeping tasks and meal preparation
- Medication and appointment reminders
- Assistance with grooming and bathing
- Assistance with toileting and incontinence issues
- Alzheimer’s Care
- Ability to treat and care for seniors and their property with dignity and respect
- Ability to communicate with clients in a friendly and congenial manner
- Complete a criminal background check, DMV check and drug screen
- Possess a valid driver’s license and valid auto insurance
- Essential Qualifications (Include minimum education, experience, and specific skills required to perform Primary Responsibilities.
- Pass a random drug screen.
- Valid driver’s license and auto insurance.
- Attendance to On-going training/meetings.
- Working cell or home telephone at all times.
- Ability to speak, read, write, and understand the English language.
- Ability to treat and care for clients and their property with dignity and respect.
- Ability to communicate with the client in a friendly and congenial manner.
- Ability to communicate with office/on-call staff to ensure that service expectations are met.
- Must have your own vehicle, please note that public transportation is not acceptable.
- Ability to adapt to various individual living environments and locations.
- Ability to lift 25 pounds, bending, twisting, stooping, kneeling, reaching, pushing, pulling, stair climbing, and carrying.
- Ability to withstand periodic contact with dog and cat hair, dust, mold, mildew and cleaning solutions.
- Must be able to attend HISC three day paid training program.
