About this job
Currently hiring for over 20 positions at a client of ours in the Carol Stream area!! The company manufactures adhesives, sealants, and other chemical products for the construction industry. The two main departments that they are looking to hire in are their powders and pastes departments. This client is currently hiring for 3 different key skill sets that are vital to their success. The client is in need of forklift operators, machine operators, and packers. These positions start out at $12-$13 an hour, but once permanent after the 90 day contract-to-hire there will be an increase in pay for both going permanent and for the shift differential. The client is looking to hire mainly for their 2nd and 3rd shifts. These shifts will be 8HR shifts with potential overtime during the week and also overtime on the weekends. Candidates must be comfortable working overtime on the weekends.
Requirements:
- 1-2 years of material handing experience in a manufacturing, or production environment experience
- Lift up to 50lbs consistently
- Experience working in fast paced environment
- Consistent attendance history
- Ability to read, write and speak English
