About this job
Construction company is looking to hire an experienced quality control manager for a large project going on in the El Paso area.
Responsibilites:
Ensure the project is built within contract document specifications, owner requirements, and comply with local, state and federal building codes.
- Coordinates with other trades, process daily reports of project progress and adhere to all guidelines issued by owner.
- Assists the project team in understanding the contract document specifications in their discipline.
- Works in conjunction with the Lead Quality Manager and with the Field staff to ensure quality and timeliness of project construction and completion.
- Manages other inspectors and submittal clerks, as well as coordinate independent material testing and lab work
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of experience or 10-15 consecutive years construction/healthcare experience.
- Must have USACE Contract Quality Control Course Completed with the issued Certificate presentable at time of interview.
- Prior experience working as the CQC Manager and/or Project Manager on projects over $100M.
- Prior experience developing Quality Control Plans a plus.
