JOB OVERVIEW

Sunrise Senior Living is seeking a PointClickCare Specialist to work at our Community Support Office headquartered in McLean, VA. This position will build, configure, deploy and maintain care configuration (assessments, care plans, security, ISPs, etc.) on PointClickCare. The system is being used to support care planning for Sunrise Residents.

RESPONSIBILITIES & QUALIFICATIONS

Responsibilities
  • Build, configure, deploy and maintain care configuration
    • Tasks
    • Point of Care (POC)
    • User Defined Assessments (UDA)
    • Scheduling
    • Shifts/Assignments
    • eMAR/eTAR
    • Security
  • Analysis of current configuration and requirements
  • Requirements gathering for future modifications to support the business changes
  • Testing and follow through on all changes
  • System documentation
  • Provide information and feedback for training documentation
  • Participate in departmental and other meetings as requested
  • Exercise discretion when accessing protected patient health information as it relates to client issues and needs
  • Work with external vendors and contractors as appropriate
Education/Experience Required
  • Knowledge and experience with PointClickCare
  • Configuration and support of an eHR (electronic health record) and eMAR experience required
  • Experience in health care and senior living required
  • Experience in customer service support required
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs

  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal) for information gathering and the ability to interact with various client group
