Project Architect - Full-time / Part-time

The Project Architect is responsible for the production of the construction documents.The PA is the secondary contact with the client and is responsible for the day-to-day contact with the engineering consultants.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Coordinate the production of the construction documents
• Coordinate with the engineering consultants
• Works closely with Project Manager
• Maintain the quality control of the drawings and specifications
• Process and coordinate the in-office construction phase of projects including shop drawings, RFPs and RFIs
• May provide construction observation for certain projects
• May be required to participate in the marketing of new clients, presentations, and trade shows
• May act as mentor to new team members
• Responsible for managing project hours as directed by the Project Manager

Education and/or Experience:

• Bachelors Degree in Architecture
• Experience working with AIA forms and contracts
• Codes experience and application proficiency
• BIM/ Revit proficiency
• PC skills with industry accepted software
• Ability to travel between the office and client/job sites on a regular basis
• Problem solving and negotiation skills
• Working knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems
• Registered architect in Wisconsin preferred
