Part-Time Team Member
The restaurant areas at Wegmans are now hiring for both part time and full time restaurant positions. Sub Shop, Coffee, and Prepared Foods departments have multiple opportunities available including roles such as Wokery Runner, Customer Service, Dishwasher, Cook, Barista, and Food Bar Attendant! What is my job:
Prepared Foods Customer Service: Proactively approach customers at the counter, weigh and package prepared items as requested, answer questions about products, offer suggestions for meal solutions and respond with a sense of urgency.
Sub Shop Customer Service: Our Sub Shop serves made-to-order submarines and wraps using delicious ingredients and freshly baked bread. In this area, you’ll work with a team to deliver incredible service and prepare fresh, great tasting meal solutions for our customers. If you have a passion for food and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, then do what you love!
Cook: In this position, you’ll educate our customers about the exceptional ingredients and products we offer, as well as ensure great tasting prepared foods are available for customers to enjoy throughout the day!
Barista: Are you are a coffee fanatic and love the scents of freshly brewed coffee? If so, this could be the role for you! Our Coffee Shop serves customers the freshest, most delicious blends of coffee and specialty drinks throughout the day. In this department, you’ll work with a team to provide incredible customer service and share your knowledge and passion for the coffee industry.
Wokery Runner: Our Asian Cuisine offers customers a wide variety of great tasting Asian-inspired prepared foods. - Perishable and Prepared Foods departments require proper and safe handling of knives and other cooking or baking utensils and equipment
- In order to maintain a high standard of food safety, it is Wegmans’ policy that when working in Perishable and Prepared Foods areas a hair restraint must be worn at all times. Also, facial ornaments & jewelry must be removed.

- Days/hours requirements: part-time employees may work up to 30 hours/week, with shifts ranging between 4 and 8 hours at a time based on department needs. Weekly hours and specific shifts are not guaranteed and we do not offer set schedules. The most successful applicants offer an availability spanning several hours at a time, on multiple days/week. Specific days/hours of work vary by position/department and will generally include weekends.
